The Research and Development Institute Tamiš had the pleasure of hosting representatives from Trakya University and Trakya Birlik, Türkiye. The visit included Prof. Dr. Yalçın KAYA, Head of the Department of Genetic and Bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Trakya University, Prof. Dr. Dinçer AKAL, and Dr. Goksel Evci, Head of the Sunflower Breeding Department at Trakya Birlik Seed Co.
During the visit, the guests toured the Institute facilities and laboratories, where they were introduced to ongoing research activities, scientific infrastructure, and projects related to sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, and the application of innovative technologies in agroecological systems.
The discussions particularly focused on opportunities for future collaboration between the institutions, including joint research initiatives, knowledge exchange, and potential cooperation within international and European research and innovation programmes.
The visit represented an important step toward strengthening international cooperation and fostering connections between scientific and industrial partners in the fields of agriculture, genetics, and sustainable development.
