In the period from May 15 to May 21, 2024, researchers from the Tamish Research and Development Institute, Isidora Knežević, Research Associate, and Helena Todorović, Junior Research Assistant, visited the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Banja Luka with the aim of gaining new knowledge and improving existing expertise through training. During their stay, they became familiar with working methods in the Entomology Laboratory, where research is focused on the detection of beneficial and harmful entomofauna, as well as in the Laboratory for Soil Science, Land Reclamation, and Plant Nutrition, where research on soil fertility and the quality of mineral fertilizers is conducted.

MSc Eng. Isidora Knežević, Research Associate, in cooperation with Associate Professor Dr. Branimir Nježić, successfully completed the training titled “Techniques for Extraction and Identification of Phytoparasitic Nematodes” in the Entomology Laboratory, which was confirmed by the issuance of a certificate.

An important outcome of this visit by IRI Tamiš researchers to the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka, is also the establishment of scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
