Orchard

With the establishment of a modern orchard in 2011, based on a high-density planting system, drip irrigation, fertigation, and anti-hail netting, the conditions were created for conducting field trials in fruit production.

The orchard includes the following fruit species: apple, trained in the “slender spindle” system, as well as peach and nectarine, which are trained in the “Fusetto” system (Table 1).

In order to further modernize the production process, the GlobalG.A.P. standard was introduced in the apple plantation in 2013 (Certificate No. 1300005 /2013 rev. 00, dated 14/01/2013, Agricert).
