Contribution to Ecological Production Systems

The role of the agricultural advisory service is to implement the concept of sustainable agricultural development. This is primarily achieved through the transfer of knowledge using methods defined by the Rulebook on the Performance of Advisory Activities. A significant contribution is also made through practical examples from experiments conducted at our experimental field, particularly those related to ecological production systems.

In 2008, with the establishment of a certified organic demonstration field (certificate: TAM-194/09-PA-SRB-1, OCS), applied research in organic crop production systems began.

In the orchard, the GlobalG.A.P. standard was introduced in an apple plantation in 2013 (Certificate No. 1300005 /2013 rev. 00, dated 14/01/2013, Agricert). The introduction of this standard on an experimental intensive fruit plantation is important for the education and training of agricultural producers.

The goal is to eliminate and control potential product contamination, prevent environmental pollution, ensure proper care for workers involved in production, increase product competitiveness, and facilitate market placement.
