{"id":211849,"date":"2025-07-16T10:56:24","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T08:56:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institut-tamis.rs\/?p=211849"},"modified":"2025-07-17T09:22:17","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T07:22:17","slug":"poseta-delegacije-kws-istrazivacko-razvojnom-institutu-tamis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/institut-tamis.rs\/en\/vesti\/poseta-delegacije-kws-istrazivacko-razvojnom-institutu-tamis\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit of the KWS Delegation to the Research and Development Institute Tami\u0161"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">A delegation of the KWS company visited the experimental field of the Research and Development Institute \u201cTami\u0161.\u201d The guests were welcomed by the Director, Dr Svetlana Roljevi\u0107 Nikoli\u0107, Principal Research Fellow, and Dr Nikola \u0106ur\u010di\u0107, Senior Research Associate, who briefly presented the history, development, and scope of activities of the Institute. The visitors were introduced to the research infrastructure, key equipment investments made over the past three years, and the medium-term development plan of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The long-standing cooperation and friendly relationship between the Institute and KWS were also highlighted, considering that several outstanding experts currently working at KWS began their professional careers at the Tami\u0161 Institute.\nThe participants were also addressed by Mr Miodrag Stankovi\u0107, General Director of KWS for Serbia, who emphasized the 170-year tradition of the KWS company, as well as the scope and importance of the genetic material of various crops that the company develops and continuously improves. Director Stankovi\u0107 underlined the importance of cooperation with the Tami\u0161 Institute in order to promote innovation in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Serbia, not only through the development and adaptation of new crop varieties but also through other innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Additional remarks were given by Dr Tihomir Gujani\u010di\u0107, Agroservice Manager; Ferenc \u0160mit, Chief Manager; Sava Krgovi\u0107, Research Center Manager; and Dr Zdravko Hojka, Manager for Agroservice and Product Development.\nAfter the round table discussion, representatives of KWS visited the winter cereal trials at the Institute\u2019s experimental field, as well as the \u201cTami\u0161 Agrolab\u201d laboratory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">During the visit, it was agreed to strengthen and expand cooperation, both in the field of experimental trials and in laboratory testing and services.<\/p>\n<p><img
