This scientific congress gathered eminent experts from the country and abroad who presented the results of their research within the following thematic areas:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weed biology and ecology<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weed control<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conference on herbicides and plant growth regulators<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biological potential of weeds<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our colleagues, MSc Maja Sudimac and MSc Jovan Lazarevi\u0107, took part in this event. Ms. Sudimac, as part of a plenary presentation, spoke about the role and importance of agricultural advisory and extension services in transferring knowledge from the scientific community to end users (farmers), and how this communication plays a crucial role in the effective control of harmful organisms, including weeds, in the field.Mr. Lazarevi\u0107, within the poster session, presented part of the results from his recently published paper in a leading international journal.
