This system contributes to a more economical production of safe and healthy food.<\/p>\n<h2>Method of Work<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring the population dynamics and life cycles of harmful organisms important for agricultural production. For daily monitoring of insects, pheromone traps and light traps are used. This system of visual observation enables the timely detection and identification of new invasive species.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring plant pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi). During the operation of the Forecasting and Reporting Service (PIS), the key infection periods, incubation periods, sporulation processes and their spread have been identified for the most important pathogens, as well as the moments when plant protection measures must be undertaken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-209063\" src=\"https:\/\/institut-tamis.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Opis-poslova-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Through continuous monitoring, the conditions in which all processes occur are recorded, from plant development and the development of harmful organisms to their interactions. The prediction of the conditions for the occurrence and spread of plant diseases is based on this monitoring. Data collection is carried out through Automatic Meteorological Stations (AMS).<br \/>\nAll these parameters have been validated under production conditions through a series of conducted field trials. Therefore, the establishment and monitoring of these trials represent an integral part of the system\u2019s work each year. All experiments and the interpretation of results are conducted in accordance with EPPO standards.<br \/>\nRecommendations, reports, field results, and access to AMS data are available on the website www.pisvojvodina.com and are accessible to everyone.
