participated in the national scientific conference
with international participationtitled “Biotechnology and Modern Approaches in Plant Cultivation and Breeding.”
bilja“The conference was held on November 6, 2025, at the Institute for Vegetable Crops in Smederevska Palanka.
The event gathered numerous researchers from various scientific institutions in Serbia, as well as participants from
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia.
During the conference, many scientific papers were presented in the fields of vegetable production, crop production, application of modern methods and techniques in plant breeding and plant protection, agroecology, sustainable agriculture, and conservation of genetic resources.
Many of the presented papers addressed the topic of mitigating the negative effects of global climate change on agricultural production. In this context, special emphasis was placed on the importance of a multidisciplinary scientific approach, connecting physics, biology, and precision agriculture.
Researchers from RDI “Tamiš” presented several papers as authors and co-authors, contributing significantly to the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of agriculture. Their work focused on the study of the impact of agrotechnical measures on chlorophyll content in sweet corn and pepper, as well as on the analysis of genotypic variability and genotype–environment interactions in small grain cereals.
Participation in this conference also enabled the establishment of new professional contacts and initiatives for future scientific and research cooperation.
