Research and Development (R&D)

Based on Article 82 of the Law on Science and Research, a procedure has been initiated at the Research and Development Institute “Tamiš” in Pančevo
for the election of Dr Stanka Pešić to the scientific title of Research Associate.
The materials related to this election are available on the Institute’s website in the section “Elections to Scientific Titles” and are accessible to the public
for a period of 30 days.

Our Projects

Over the past years, the Research and Development Institute “Tamiš” has participated as a lead institution, partner, and beneficiary in the implementation of several projects. In most cases, the activities and objectives of these projects have been focused on sustainable agricultural production systems. Through such activities, RDI “Tamiš” has been recognized in many areas related to agriculture and rural development as an important driver of broader social significance.

1) “Improvement of Crop Production through the Control of Agricultural Soil Fertility and Monitoring the Implementation of Recommendations and Advice”, 2024 (No. 001144990/1/2024 14846 005 001 327 002), Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia. Project leader: Dr Svetlana Roljević Nikolić.

2)“Development and Implementation of Molecular Diagnostic Methods in the Field of Phytonematology” , 2023 (No. 104-401-3024/2023-01-1), Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry. Project leader: Dr Svetlana Roljević Nikolić.

3) “Development and Implementation of Molecular Diagnostic Methods in the Field of Phytonematology”, 2022 (No. 104-401-7382/2022-01), Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry. Project leader: Dr Jasmina Bačić.

4) “Improvement of Agricultural Production in the Republic of Serbia through Education on the Latest Ecological Production Technologies with a Focus on the Export of Agricultural Products”, 2022 (No. 680-00-00106/2/2022-02), Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia. Project leader: Dr Svetlana Roljević Nikolić.

5) Project partner: “Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development in the Function of Achieving the Strategic Goals of the Republic of Serbia within the Danube Region” Integral and interdisciplinary research project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia (2011–2019). Collaborators: Vladimir Filipović, Vladan Ugrenović, Svetlana Roljević Nikolić, Nikola Ćurčić.

6) Project partner: “4-H Program for Youth Development in Rural Areas” , implemented by the United States Department of Agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia, and the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of AP Vojvodina (2013). Project leader: Violeta Mickovski Stefanović.

7) Project partner: “EU WATER – Transnational Integrated Management of Water Resources in Agriculture for the European Water Emergency Control” , financed by the European Union within the South East Europe (SEE) Program (2010–2012). Collaborators: Mileta Stanković, Dragan Ljubomirović.

8)Project partner: “Monitoring and Control of the Invasive Biological Pollutant – Ambrosia artemisiifolia (spp)”, No. 90960/30 12 2010, MIS-ETC Code 410, Romania – Republic of Serbia IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme, Priority Axis 2: Environment and Emergency Preparedness (2011). Collaborators: Maja Sudimac, Milan Sudimac, Mileta Stanković.

9) Project partner: “Establishment of Demonstration Fields as an Incentive for the Development of Organic Production” (AAR053), sub-project financed by the World Bank through the STAR Project – Agriculture Reform in Transition Project, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia (2010–2011). Project leader: Vladan Ugrenović. Collaborator: Vladimir Filipović.
