Participation at the 61st Croatian and 21st International Symposium on Agriculture

Učešće na 61. hrvatskom i 21. međunarodnom simpozijumu iz poljoprivrede

Researchers from our institution participated in the 61st Croatian and 21st International Symposium on Agriculture, held in Bol on the island of Brač, Croatia, from 31 May to 5 June 2026. The symposium brought together researchers, scientists, and agricultural experts from numerous countries, providing an important platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge, presentation of current research results, and strengthening of international cooperation in the field of sustainable agriculture and agroecosystem management.

During the symposium, Gordana Racić presented the scientific paper entitled “Phenolic Content and Antioxidant Activity (DPPH) of Winter Wheat under Different Fertilization Treatments”. The research focused on the effects of different fertilization treatments on phenolic compound accumulation and antioxidant activity in winter wheat, emphasizing the importance of sustainable fertilization practices for improving crop quality and resilience.

Participation in this international scientific event enabled valuable discussions with researchers from different countries on current challenges and innovative approaches in sustainable agricultural production. The symposium particularly highlighted the importance of environmentally responsible and resilient agricultural systems for future food security.

The abstract was published in the Proceedings of the 61st Croatian & 21st International Symposium on Agriculture, published by the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, University Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.
