At the Tamish Research and Development Institute, a team of researchers led by Dr. Jelena Damnjanović, Senior Research Associate, is dedicated to conducting soil fertility analyses of arable agricultural land in accordance with the Public Call issued by the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.
The analyses carried out in the “Tamish Agrolab” laboratory provide detailed information on the chemical properties of the soil, including organic matter content, pH value, calcium carbonate content, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels, in order to determine soil fertility. This approach supports agricultural producers in implementing optimal crop production practices, ensuring efficient use of resources while reducing negative environmental impacts.
The Tamish Research and Development Institute continues its dedicated work in improving agricultural practices through research and education.
